On Sunday our daughter is leaving on a 3-week study trip to India. What an adventure she’ll have! Her subject is Peace & Conflict Studies, and the location is mainly centered around Pondicherry, in southern India. We are so grateful she can make this trip, as we greatly prize the experience of travel.
What do I wish for her as she prepares to depart? Safe travel, of course. But more than that: That her eyes will be surprised by what she sees. That her heart will be changed by what she experiences. That her life will be shaped by the sights, smells, sounds, and textures of this place.
May the Spirit use all this to shape the clay of her life.
