Work in Progress

Welcome! My name is Ruth Everhart. I’m a writer and a Presbyterian clergywoman.

I spent 21 years doing ministry in four churches in four states (New York, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland). Now I spend the bulk of my time doing the two things I love: writing and uncluttering.

WRITING PROJECTS

My book about a pilgrimage to the Holy Land is due to come out in early 2013.

This Lent I wrote a devotional for Presbyterians Today, called “A Lenten Pilgrimage.” That devotional sold out, but will be reprinted in the future, so let me know if you would like a copy (or multiple copies).

I’m also in the early stages of another writing project with a friend, a non-fiction book on a heavy subject: how experiencing sexual violence shapes faith.

Meanwhile, I post bits and pieces in my blog: Work-in-Progress.

I am really good at getting rid of what’s unnecessary, which is the all-important first step toward creating the life you want. How do you decide what to keep and what to toss?

Is the life you want buried beneath the piles of stuff on your kitchen counter?

Do you need some help in uncluttering -- a closet, a bookshelf, a basement? Contact me!

Uncluttering Rates:

in person, $55/hour, 3 hour minimum

by phone/Skype, $55 hour, 1 hour minimum
